We are pleased to announce we have the privilege to open for Russian Circles, who will be hitting the shores of Aotearoa in a couple of weeks, all the way from Chicago. If you don’t know this band you should, they are amazing. If their last masterpiece Geneva (2009) is anything to go by, then their next album ‘Empros’ scheduled for release in October will push the parameters of experimental instrumental music even further.

A big thanks to all who came and checked out our set at the Kings Arms the other night. Thanks to Resporn for booking the show and also to Legion for playing aswell. Both killer bands. We’ll have a few clips from the show to put up soon thanks to our man Jamie Whitehouse. Guitar tracking has finally commenced after waitng for ripped wrist ligaments to heal up, more tracking will begin in 2 weeks time. We are chipping away at it any chance we get. Well we have 4 drum tracks in the can so far, and we’ll be aiming to lay down another 3-4 tracks soon. Hugh ripped a ligament in his wrist playing tennis about a month ago but it is healing up now and he’ll be tracking guitars soon enough. Bass for one track was layed down tonight, sounding big, and good.
We’ll be playing at the Kings Arms on July 15th, it’s been a while!

Recording is ticking along nicely when time is found amongst all band members’ busy schedules. Guitars will be tracked soon with this highly respected instrument, and more work on the video will commence next month in Belgium. We also have a show coming up at the Kings Arms June 17, seems like ages since we played!
