Mothra band update
A big thanks to all who came and checked out our set at the Kings Arms the other night. Thanks to Resporn for booking the show and also to Legion for playing aswell. Both killer bands. We’ll have a few clips from the show to put up soon thanks to our man Jamie Whitehouse. Guitar tracking has finally commenced after waitng for ripped wrist ligaments to heal up, more tracking will begin in 2 weeks time. We are chipping away at it any chance we get. Next gig will be at the Masonic Tavern in Devonport, Sep 2nd. Our old local stomping ground! There’s a few nice handprinted tshirts left, and one hoodie, get in while you can. Mothra

Mothra band recording progress update
Well we have 4 drum tracks in the can so far, and we’ll be aiming to lay down another 3-4 tracks soon. Hugh ripped a ligament in his wrist playing tennis about a month ago but it is healing up now and he’ll be tracking guitars soon enough. Bass for one track was layed down tonight, sounding big, and good.
We’ll be playing at the Kings Arms on July 15th, it’s been a while!

Kings Arms gig coming up (Mothra band)
Kiaora, we’ll be playing a set at Resporn’s CD release party Friday July 17th at the Kings Arms Tavern in Newton. Also on the bill are Cripple Mr Onion and Legion. We’ll be on 1st around 9.30, $10 on the door. See you there!

Mothra band recording progress
Recording is ticking along nicely when time is found amongst all band members’ busy schedules. Guitars will be tracked soon with this highly respected instrument, and more work on the video will commence next month in Belgium. We also have a show coming up at the Kings Arms June 17, seems like ages since we played!
